Hear acclaimed children’s band Monkey Monkey Music with Meredith Lavande in a free concert at Lippitt House Museum. A Parenting magazine “top pick,” Monkey Monkey Music creator Meredith Lavande’s music videos are featured on 100 PBS stations across the county. Children will have plenty of space to dance to the upbeat music while parents enjoy an urban greenspace. Families are invited to bring a blanket and a picnic to the concert, part of the Hunter Music Series which hosts performances for both children and adults at the museum throughout the year. The concert is supported by Media Partner Rhode Island PBS Kids Club. The concert will be held rain or shine with a rain location at the Central Congregational Church at 296 Angell Street.
